Stem Cell Vampire Facial FAQ
Vampire Facial is also known as Microchanneling, Microneedling, Collagen Induction Therapy, with Stem Cells.
What is Microchanneling?
Microchanneling is a skin treatment that transforms the look and feel of damaged skin to a smoother, and healthier looking skin.
Microchanneling is also known by various names such as, Vampire Facial, Collagen Induction Therapy, or Microneedling.
Microchanneling is a skin rejuvenation procedure that creates invisible microinjuries known as microchannels, in your skin which tricks your body into creating healthy skin by tapping into your body’s own natural ability to create collagen and elastin.
What Skin Conditions Does Microchanneling Treat?
Microchanneling is used to improve the elasticity and collage production in your skin.
It is commonly used to treat areas such as:
Hairloss (We offer hair loss stem cells that assist in stimulating the regrowth of your hair.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
Just like no two people are the same, neither is our skin. Depending on the area that we are treating, you may need anywhere from 2-6 treatments.
What is the Microchanneling Vampire Facial downtime?
With microchanneling, there is essentially zero downtime, as you can immediately go back to your day to day activities following the treatment. After 90 minutes, you can go back to your skincare, makeup, and spf routine.
What To Expect After Microchanneling?
Clients report feeling like their skin has a mild sunburn. With that being said, there might be a slight redness, skin will feel tight, and warm lasting anywhere from 4-24 hours after your first treatment.
For the next 1-3 days there might be some mild "peeling" sloughing of the skin (it just looks like you have dry skin), and the skin may feel dry, so it is important that you stay moisturized.
What Is The Difference Between Microneedling and Microchanneling?
Microchanneling is a more advanced and less invasive version of microneedling.
It provides the a better stimulation than miconeedling because it causes much less trauma to the skin and consequently less downtime.
Instead of the traditional pens that drag along the surface of the skin which can create microtears on the skin, Microchanneling stamps the skin with microfillaments instead of needles, to create the microchannels.
This is a safer alternative to the dreaded at home Dermarolling, or any microneedling pen, which both create microtears in the skin.
With microchanneling we can stimulate the skin with out creating more trauma.
What Is In The Microchanneling Stem Cell Serum? Is it PRP?
We do not use PRP, but we use stem cells.
The microchanneling stem cell serum we use contains naturally occurring elements such as bone marrow-derived growth factors and hyaluronic acid.
The product has been used safely and effectively for over a decade.
To clarify, there are no plant, human, or animal cells, DNA, or blood.
Does Microchanneling Hurt?
We strive to keep our clients as comfortable as possible, that is why we use numbing creme during our treatment, however pain tolerance differs from person to person.
